Ninety years young next month.
My dad died when I was 30 and I felt robbed to lose him.
This lady however, has been the utter constant of my life. Ever the voice of reason to calm me in my moments of angst, and still with a twinkle in her eye.
She’s wearing a sweat shirt (completely off brand!) but that’s the colour and text she wanted, and I gave up arguing with her long ago...
On coping with life in the 21st Century her philosophy is simple:
L O V E
In all it’s glorious forms.
To be loved for being exactly who you are, to not have to mould yourself into someone else’s vision or ideal, that’s a biggie.
